Just another day on the grind

The weather here yesterday was AWESOME! 76 degrees and I was done with work at noon. Hit the links and proceeded to double both par 3's on the back in route to a 79. uhhhhhhh! At least the weather was nice! Today marks the release of the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto IV for PlayStation 3. I have not been on the sticks for a long while but I am hyped about this game. Something about running people over with cars, shooting old ladies from rooftops, punching random people in the face and just straight MAYHEM appeal to me! Oh yeah and don't forget about the flamethrower. FIREMAN!

Side note: did anyone over the weekend see the putt that Adam Scott made on the 3rd playoff hole to win against Ryan Moore. Straight money in the bank. by the way Adam Scott is my idol, who doesn't want to be single, golf pro, straight sponsored by Burberry and Titleist. Sounds like a horrible life

Its SATURDAY in Walla Walla

Need to be out on the golf course soon! Weather here is beautiful. Watched the movie Cloverfield last night and stayed in. Not to much excitement in Walla Walla on a Friday night. The movie was actually alright for the budget that they reported shooting it on. Golfing today and going to Walmart. I dont want to make anyone jealous! No sightings last night of the kids who put chocolate syrup on my truck. I was bummed. The west-siders have officially started to take over Walla Walla for the upcoming Wine months. I am glad they come here to visit and not to live! If the only reason they come here is for wine, that works for me. Hahah I sound like a snob. Oh well! The countdown is on till my boy Jeffery Fantastic invades Walla Walla and gets dirty on the wine tours!Bring your money and your game Mr. Fantastic. You will need it!

FRIDAY

I finally went to the doctor today! First time in 5 years. Is that good? And let me tell you, what a nightmare. Since I am a veteran I decided to go to the good old VA. After sitting in the lobby waiting for my appointment for 45 minutes, next to several old men who all had SARS and coughed repeatedly trying to spread it I was called in. The nurse, not attractive, was nice and did her usual questions and then told me to wait for the doctor.
The doctor was WEIRD! And I will add looked like he had been working on his garden this morning and forgot to wash his hands. I couldn't wait for him to touch me and tell me to cough! Told him of a few concerns I had about my heart and how I thought it might skip bears once in awhile. He said no problem he would just run some test and send me home with a monitor that I could bring back Monday. Sounds simple right!
NO. They shaved my chest and hooked me up with this little machine that is attached to 7 panels that get taped to your chest. Wires EVERYWHERE! And oh yeah, by the way, you cant shower for 48 hours! NICE. As you call can guess, as soon as I walked to the next building for x-rays I ripped off this thing, and in the trash it went. Got blood taken and a urine sample. 3 and 1/2 hours later I was on my way. What a great way to start my Friday! And oh yeah. When I came out to my truck this morning someone overnight decided that my truck need Hershey Chocolate Syrup poured all down one side. AWESOME! Tonight I will be spending the night on my roof with night visions goggles and my 45! Check back tomorrow to see how my adventure goes!

This is my blog. All views and opinions expressed within this blog belong to me and not anyone or any outside publication. I am back in Walla Walla for the first time since 98. Am I happy? Couldn't ask for more. I have a great opportunity in front of me and a loving family to back me up. I hope you all enjoy my post and are not offended by some others. You who know me, know how and what I am about. Uncensored, uncut, and turning my life around a day at a time.

Draft Day 2008

So here is the question. In 2 days the Kansas City Chiefs will answer some highly anticpated questions that have been lingering about the direction they plan to take in the future. Will they look for a new quarterback, maybe someone to back up LJ, lineman, who knows?
The draft always surprises me and at this point, I really dont care who the Chiefs draft. They need all the help they can get after last seasons debacle.
I cant wait to see what happens and dont forget, the real tomahawk chop started at with the Chiefs, not the Florida State Seminoles!
