Griswold Christmas Vacation PART II

On Friday I took the new puppy and the pickup truck (sound redneck yet!) and went up in the hills to find that perfect Christmas tree. Need a permit to cut down a tree but I figured if I found a good one and was fast enough with the chop down job I could get away with it. After 20 minutes of driving slow and scanning the road the light from the sky illuminated that "one" tree. Problem was it was about 18 ft. tall. No worries. Saw the tree in the middle, get the top which is the best part anyway and continue on my way. Problem number 2. Huge 50 foot ravine on the opposite side of the tree. If this thing falls the wrong way, say goodbye tree and goodbye me if I hold on. But like any redneck I put in work and got the job done. Top that I cut off ended up being 8 feet tall after I sawed the tip off. Drove her home wet, drilled a hole put a stand in and now I have a tree that I can say we did work on! Just a side note. NO squirrel has jumped out of it yet. Still waiting. And Bear aka Rockhead loves that he has unlimited water to drink from at any moment of the day

ALL DIRT ROADS LEAD TO PULLMAN

Enough said

Apple Cup 2008

With a combined record of 1 and 20 UW and WSU will hook up this weekend for a game that features both teams who are at the bottom of the basement in the PAC-10. This game is about bragging rights and all I can say is GO DAWGS! I don't care if this is UW's first win of the season, it will be that much sweeter coming against WSU. I will pay money to see the dumb-founded faces of under-privileged/ un-educated college kids (that's not very nice of me, haha) from WSU go home crying when UW somehow finds a way to win what should be a sloppy game.

I laugh in my sleep thinking about this

Rob is on point in this commercial! This has to make anyone laugh!

Been 2 long

So where have I been? I wish I could tell you. Look at the golf course, been doing work with the last few nice days we have left this year! Baby, called a new dog that takes a lot of my time but I love him. Work, we all know how that goes. Love the job though and the future is looking bigger and bigger. Holiday's uggggggg, got to love figuring out the family's schedules and trying to get everyone in one place so we can have a good time! Besides all that madness, life is good and I cannot complain at all!

Soon to be the new man in the fam!

Mr. Green will be coming to the Barnhart family at the end of this week. His mom was found on the streets abandoned and the next day she had 9 puppies. He is the wild one of the bunch and needs lots of love and training! He is a Pitbull Terrier mix. Whatever that is!

I can be

Eminem joint. Check it and see what you think!

Release Dates

Jay-Z will be dropping Blueprint III on or around December 2nd. Kanye will drop his 808 and Hearbreaks on November 25th. This album will contain more songs about Kanye's life and him doing more singing then rapping. Also dropping in December will be the much anticipated Eminem album and also Dr. Dre! Last few months of the year should be hot for some new beats. We will all just have to wait and see.

Aint I

Still waiting for the drop of the Blueprint III! This album with joints like this should be hot!

The Fall

If you have not seen this movie yet, go and rent it. It's a story about a little girl in a hospital who be-friends a sick man. He shares a story with her about 5 men on a incredible journey. Different, yes. Great shots in the movie and beautiful scenery. For those who have a big imagination you will not be disappointed!

One of the best commercial's of 08

This commercial is money!

This is so WRONG but made my week that much better!

Are you kidding me with this! I am on the ground in my living room right now laughing hysterically!

Seattle Sculpture Park and Exhibition

Exhibition was pretty sweet and the day in Seattle could not have been better. Lots of walking around and eating was a must that day. Seattle has so much to offer if you are just looking for a chill day of wandering around doing nothing!

The Barnhart Kids minus 1

Last weekend me and the sisters met up in Seattle for a little weekend bbq action! Waas good to see the twins from San Fran and always good to see Jacquo. We did miss Emilie though!

That time of year again..... I love playoff baseball

so now that the playoffs are in full swing I thought I would bust out 2 videos of last years world series when me and Mr. Fantastic invaded Colorado and went BIG. one video is of game 4 and the second is the video of us rolling out of colorado at 5:30 am. the gaurd loved me!

50 mph winds and golf = disaster

some more of the worst weather I have ever seen and played in. monsoon like conditions. jeff really did almost get knocked over by the wind in this video. if you listen, and you don't have to try hard, you can here the wind straight putting in work on us. we never did find this shot that jeff hit!

Worst Golf Shot Ever

besides the beautiful weather, I threw on top of that a horrible golf shot. the noise you hear is me smacking the tree directly in front of me. I'm good

Mother+*$#@!^ throwdown in Seatown 08

My boy Mr. Fantastic made the great voyage from Beantown to Seatown and we hooked up for a weekend of Bukake and golf. No drinking was involved but I did ditch Jeff not once, but twice. The second night involved cab races back to the hotel! Enough said on that. Golf in the rain the first day, golf in 50 mph gust the second day. All the homies came out Friday night and we burned down Fremont! Hotel bill was on point for M&M's and water and...... oh yeah that's all we ate the entire time. No wonder I felt so good on Saturday. ugggggggg Bluewater Mexican was eaten 4 times, really, and the weather was well, Seattle. Good times!
Other highlights included jeff's Goodwill purchase of a belt, shuffleboard (brought back memories of the 07 world series, jeff's horrible shot during shuffleboard, jeff's golf bag in his bed, some dude with a sweater his grandma gave him and random pictures of madness. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the 520 bridge on the way back from golf on Saturday, blowing side to side with tidal waves coming over the side

Are you serious!!!

So today I attended my mom's graduation from a 6 week crash course employees are required to take before taking a full time job at the state penitentiary. Was happy to be present and to support my mom. They started by bringing in the color guard which was sloppy and very un-professional. Maybe I am being to picky having been in the Marine Corps and expecting nothing but the best. Whatever. The next thing made me walk out of the room though! I was laughing so hard and so mad at myself for not bringing my camera. This was a pure YouTube moment that I missed out on. This lady and a older guy with a guitar were responsible for singing and playing the national anthem. The lady made it through "oh say can you see" and that was it! For real! She choked on something missed a few lines, then continued another few lines later to no avail! She choked again and the guy playing the guitar called her off. He said he was just going to play an instrumental and they didn't even finish the national anthem. HORRIBLE!!! So for those who missed it,here is a video of another guy trying his luck. At least homeboy finishes the song, but has it horribly mixed up!

My dad's new job

This weekend me and pops decided we would take advantage of the nice weather and put in work on the yard. My dad had a flashback to his logging days on Saturday and busted out the 3 foot wood saw in preparation for the lumberjack challenge he is attending in December. Good luck dad! My truck, also in the picture, was turned into the Gypsy wagon as we thought it a good idea to stack as much debris as possible into it! My yard though is looking on point!Poppi made sure we were safe from the crazy squirrels that hunt my yard on a regular basis. Thanks Poppi!

Jeah Jeah Jeah, its killing season

Camron is back.Cam holds down his own and reps the streets of NYts

Looks like a WIN

after 12 agonizing losses it looks like my boys are finally going to chalk one up in the win column! HELL YEAH! beating a huge rival, who was also undefeated up until this point, i have to say feels pretty good! don't think this is going to salvage a season but I can still keep cheering!

Happy Birthday

my dad showed me this the other day in one of his magazines. Cookie Monster is turning who knows how old. October 2nd marks the official day of his birthday.

Jockin Jay-Z

I cannot wait for the Blueprint III! If the album is anything like the songs Jay has been droppin its going to be straight fire! Check out this jam and continue to wait like me for another album from one of the greatest rappers alive!

Mondrian

Check out Andre Legacy. This dude rocked it at the club I bar-tended at while I lived in Seatown. He came through with Micky Avalon (who I really could care less about) and dropped straight fire. Between all the girls everywhere and cocaine falling from the backroom, these guys put on quite a show. He is pretty filthy and holds his own. He used Mickey's coat tails to get big and now he is droppin new shit left and right. Google him and see what you think.

Miracle at St. Anna

This is the new Spike Lee joint that releases tomorrow. With Spike Lee films you never know what you are going to get. His films walk a narrow line that are sometimes controversial and sometimes just makes you scratch your head and say, "what is he doing". I am excited about this one though.
Set in 1944, 4 African Americans are trapped deep behind enemy German lines. This film touches on what Americans will do for freedom and also touches on the intense racism that was rampant at this time in our country. In an age where some war movies (and, you could suggest, even some wars) are made to be briefly contemplated and then forgotten, that alone should tell you that Miracle at St. Anna is worth watching for yourself.Go check out this flick when you get a chance and decide yourself. Spike Lee never fully disappoints!

One saying that I love.....

This was the motto of one of the units I was with while in the Marine Corps. Found it online today in a sign version! Do I need this in my life?

FRENCH TOAST!!!

check this clip! might just be me but this is one of the funnier scenes form 40 Year Old Virgin! This girl is all about the french toast! SAY THAT

English is not needed to describe this

Been awhile since I have seen this dunk..... and now that I watch it again, I still have to say WOW! VINCESANITY in full effect. NBA season is about to be in full swing and I am sure Vince will not disappoint as we wait for his next poster dunk!

Are you serious!

How the hell are you supposed to find Waldo?

Put in work and maybe you can. Me, I give up

If I could only still wake up and watch this on Saturday morning!

Me and my sis Emilie used to be addicts! Smurfs was the show and if you wanted to find us, we were in front of the tube checking out the latest episode of Papa Smurf battling the evil Gargamel. Loved this show. Emilie used to have a stuffed smurf and now that I think about it, it was kinda creepy! Provided entertainment though and she never left home without it.
