Hooked this one with only 15 minutes left in the 8 hour trip. Took over a half hour of me, and more my dad to reel him in. These things are no joke and made me ponder on making 2 a days to the gym.
Or maybe I should start doing exercises oriented towards fishing!!!
Oh yeah, to add just one more thing. In Oregon you are not allowed to take these over sized fish out of the water. So pictures standing with the fish are not allowed as they are in Canada. To be able to keep them they have to be 42 to 60 inches long. Not under and not over. Good luck with that! I say impossible since all I saw for 8 hours was 8 to 9 foot BEAST!!!
