Tonight is the final game being played at Yankee Stadium, as next year will begin a new era in a new stadium. This stadium, "built by Ruth" has seen 23 world championships and many other memorable moments over the 85 years it has been in existence. I remember watching games as a boy with my grandpa and still to this day I root and cheer for the Yankees. This year has been horrible and the playoffs were out of the question a few weeks ago. Needless to say, this day will be remembered by many Yankee fans and I look forward to what next year brings with the new stadium and a fresh start. GO YANKEES!
